You know looking back on it, JP’s rant actually sounds much like the response of someone hearing Alex’s description of what he thinks my position is. Which makes a little more sense, but a) is still kind of insane and b) doesn’t excuse some of the nonsense being spouted about “Because the current sales model for games is based around giant monolithic games, if we attempted to have a sales model that wasn’t [BASED around monolithic games] then the industry would crash and burn, or at least we would go out of business.”
*grin* but enough of that.
Looking at J.P.’s rant it makes me want to make him write his memoirs. Just so I could publish a book called, “The Craziest fucking thing you’ve ever heard!” and have it be true.
It also really makes me want to get his podcast (Unwanted Opinions) started.
